1. What personal data do we collect?

Data collected during registration

In order to access the key features of our system, you need to register. During registration, we ask for your first and last name, e-mail address as well as login and password you will use on our website. We also ask you to agree to the processing of your personal data and to choose the customer category which your account will be assigned to: Employer / Personnel Consultancy Company / Individual Candidate.

Data collected during purchase

In order to purchase a subscription at Testcv.com, you need to provide additional information such as: buyer type (Individual Buyer / Company), country, tax identification number, company name and/or the buyer’s first and last name, full address of the company’s registered office. If you are an Individual Buyer, we will ask for your first and last name as well as your home address.

Data collected automatically

When you visit our website, some data is collected automatically, including your IP address, domain name, type of web browser and operating system, etc. That data is used for generating statistics.

Data collected when you contact us

By contacting us through our website, phone, e-mail, etc. you provide us with some personal data such as first and last name, login, e-mail address, etc., depending on the issue you contact us about.

2. How do we use your data?

To make you feel fully comfortable, we would like to stress that under no circumstances do we sell or share your personal data with third parties.

Data collected during registration is used only for the purpose of allowing you to log in to our system. Registration is required if you want to use our tests.

Data collected during purchase is used only for the purpose of preparing the billing document (VAT invoice).

If you subscribe to our newsletter or otherwise agree to receive it, we will use your data to deliver our newsletter to you. The option to subscribe to our newsletter is always displayed during registration (you can subscribe or unsubscribe at any time through the administration panel of your user account).

Some data collected automatically may be used for the purpose of analysing the behaviour of our website users, gathering demographic information about our users or personalising the content of our website.

Data collected from the correspondence you exchange with us is used only for the purpose of answering your questions.

In some cases specified by law we may be required to disclose your data:

  • During an inspection by the Polish Inspector General for the Protection of Personal Data (GIODO), your data may be shared with the inspectorate officials, pursuant to the Personal Data Protection Act.
  • If you violate our terms of use or any legal regulations, or if we are required to do so by law, we may share your data with law enforcement authorities.

3. How are we going to contact you?

Once you register, we will e-mail you a request for authorisation. When you purchase a subscription or a single test, a VAT invoice with payment information is generated automatically. Thus, once you make a purchase, you will receive e-mails concerning your transaction. We may also contact you by phone to provide you with important information about your transaction (in which case we will ask you for your phone number). If you subscribe to our newsletter or otherwise agree to receive it, we will send it to the e-mail address provided during registration.

4. How can you modify your data?

In order to modify your data, simply log in to Testcv.com and update the information in the "Edit your data" section. The billing information provided during purchase cannot be modified or deleted because it is included in the invoice.

5. Use of cookies

Our website may use cookies to identify your web browser while you visit Testcv.com in order to display appropriate pages. These cookies do not include any personal data.

6. How do we protect your personal data?

The communication between your computer and our server, during which we collect your personal data, is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) with Thawte® Trusted Site Seal authentication and 256-bit encryption (LINK). In addition, our databases are secured to prevent access by third parties.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy by publishing its updated version on our website.
